How to make Batata vada - Aloo bonda - Aloo vada


Here I am presenting one of my favorite dish "Batata vada" / "Aloo Bonda" / "Aloo Vada" / "Potato Bonda" / "potato dumplings"

A Delicious "Batata Vada" - "Aloo Vada" - "Potato pakoda" is a very tasty recipe made of potatoes.
You can also eat Batata vada with pav as Vada pav by applying the green chutney.



ingredients:

- 3 boiled potatoes
- 1 tsp ginger,garlic & green chili paste
- 1/2 Coriander powder(dhaniya powder).
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 1 tsp red chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida(hing)
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- salt to taste
- oil for deep-frying
- 2 cup besan (Bengal gram flour).
- Water to make batter.

recipe:

To make Batter.

- Take Besan (Bengal gram flour), add Salt and soda.
- add water and prepare a batter.

To make potato balls.

- Take boiled potatoes into a bowl and then add Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste.
- Add Coriander powder(dhaniya powder),turmeric powder (haldi),red chilli powder,asafoetida (hing), Garam masala,sugar and Lemon juice.
- Mix well and prepare the round balls using your palms.
- Keep aside the balls and make the batter.

Deep frying potatoes.
- Heat the oil in a broad pan.
- Dip the round potato balls into batter.
- Now deep fry the balls into oil on a law flame.
- keep them for around 4 to 7 minutes till turns into golden brown color.
- Put on paper to dry oil.

Serve
- Your Delicious Batata vada is ready to serve.
- Serve with tomato souse OR Green Chutney OR Sweet Chutney.
- You can also eat with pav (vada pav).
