"Aloo Poha" / Bataka Pava / Potato Poha

Batata pava / Aloo Poha is a very famous food in gujarat. Main ingredients are potato , poha (flattened rice) and onion.
People mostly eat it as a breakfast or snack, you can make it any time of the day , It is very easy and less time taken recipe.

Ingredients :

- 1 cup Poha (flattened rice)
- 2 potatoes 
- 1 chopped onions
- 2 tbsp Oil / butter
- 1/2 tbsp asafoetida (hing)
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tbspTurmeric powder (Haldi)
- lemon (Nimbu) to taste.
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- Chopped Coriander (Dhania)

Method :
- First rinse the poha in water for 2-3 times.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan or kadhai and once it is hot add peanuts.
- Add mustard seeds (rai).
- Add curry leaves (kadi patta) and finely chopped green chilies.
- Add potato cut into cubes. Mix and cook the potatoes for 2-3 minutes.
- Add finely chopped onions and again stir for 3-4 minutes.
- Add poha into pan.
- Add Turmeric powder,Sugar,Salt and Lemon as per taste.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Your Tasty Batata Poha is ready to serve.
