Tiranga dhokla | Tri color Steam dhokla

Tiranga Dhokla ( Tri color dhokla )is a great patriotic snack made using Suji/Sooji/Rava (Semolina), palak puree (Spinach), and Carrots. Not only its instant but it’s very tasty and healthy too,

Tri-Color Dhokla is a popular Gujarati snack. It is a steamed & spongy snack tempered with mustard seeds and sesame seeds. This delightful tri-color dhokla is so simple to make. Since dhokla is steamed so it is healthy as well. You can avoid oil tempering if you are weight conscious.



Ingredients :
- Semolina / Rava
- Curd
- Spinach (Palak) and Coriander (Hara Dhaniya) paste
- Green chili paste
- Carrot paste
- Water
- Edible Oil
- Mustard seeds , Sesame (Til) , Cumin leaves
- Eno / Fruit salt
- Salt

Method :
- Take One bowl and add Semolin , Curd and water and mix well.
- Keep this batter aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Take 3 bowl and divide this batter into 3 part
- For Saffronlayer Add Carrot paste in batter and mix well
- For green layer add Coriander , palak and green chili paste
- Now take Dhokla plate and Grease it
- Add eno into green layer and mix well
- Between Turn on gas and heat dhokla cooker
- Put greased dhokla plate into Cooker
- Pour green batter into plate and steam for around 10 minutes
- Between prepare white batter , Add Eno and mix well
- After 10 minute pour white layer over green layer and steam for 10 minutes
- Finally prepare saffron batter by adding Eno and mix well
- After 10 minute pour saffron layer over white layer and steam it for 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes check if dhokla cooked properly and turn off flame.
- Cool it down for few minutes
- Now run a knife around the corners of the baking pan and remove dhokla into a plate
- Prepare tadka by heating oil into bowl and add mustard seeds , Sesame (Til) , Cumin leaves
- Pour it on top of Dhoklas
- Server Tiranga dhokla with green chutney or tomato sauce
